About Hillary

Hillary Haynie and her husband, Josh, are the parents of four children. Hillary earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University and was a scholarship recipient in BYU’s competitive vocal music program. During her time at BYU she studied voice and choral music with many esteemed professors and conductors, including Diane Reich, Clayne Robison, and Darrell Babidge. Nearing the end of her college career she began a private vocal studio and continues to teach private voice today. Hillary is driven to help singers grow and improve. She has expanded her studio to include music classes and lessons for all ages and she loves seeing each one of her students progress towards vocal health and confidence. Hillary specializes in a variety of singing styles including Classical, Opera, Broadway, Belt/Mix, and Contemporary/Modern Pop.

Hillary is currently the Youth Choirs Conductor’s Assistant for the Arizona Millennial™ Choirs & Orchestras. Hillary has been singing soprano in the MCO Grand Chorus since 2007, MCO’s inaugural year. One of her greatest privileges was recording the soprano solo sections of Brandon Stewart’s arrangement of “Be Still My Soul.”

Hillary’s mentors include Clayne Robison, Diane Reich, Darrell Babidge, Lawrence Vincent, Rosalind Hall, Brett Stewart, Brandon Stewart, and Ted Reid.
